Andy and Charlie Nelson were in their twenties when they discovered that their grandfather built and operated one of the biggest distilleries in the country.
Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery succumbed to prohibition. But 100 years to the day it closed, Charlie and Andy officially reopened the family business. Today, the brothers are distilling Belle Meade bourbon, white whiskey, and sherry with plans to continue growing the operation.
